Alice in Wonderland (José de Creeft)

José de Creeft's Alice in Wonderland is a bronze sculpture installed beside Conservatory Water in Central Park in 1959. The sculpture depicts Alice and several characters from Lewis Carroll's story and was commissioned by philanthropist George T. Delacorte for children to climb and interact with. It has remained a long-standing family-oriented public artwork in the park.
