Institute of Texan Cultures

The Institute of Texan Cultures is a museum and cultural center established for HemisFair '68 that interprets the diverse cultural heritage of Texas. It was operated by the University of Texas at San Antonio and has hosted exhibitions, public programs, and educational outreach focused on Texas history and multicultural communities. The institute occupies a building on the Hemisfair campus near downtown and has been a visible cultural landmark associated with the Hemisfair neighborhood.
