Barton Springs informational markers

Barton Springs Pool in Zilker Park (2201 William Barton Dr) includes informational markers describing the natural artesian springs, their connection to the Edwards Aquifer, and the site's historic use by Indigenous peoples and later development as a public recreational pool. The markers also interpret the pool's 20th-century improvements and its role in Austin urban park history. The springs and pool are managed by the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department.
