Long, McCorkle and Murray Houses

The Long, McCorkle and Murray Houses are a collection of historic homes located in Newton, Catawba County, North Carolina, recognized as a national historic district. The McCorkle House, built around 1890, showcases the elegant Queen Anne architectural style, while the Long House (circa 1902-1910) and the Murray House (circa 1920) feature variations of the Bungalow style. The Long House property also includes a contributing garage, a servant's house, and notable landscape design.
