Linoleumshuset

Linoleumshuset, designed by Povl Baumann, is a historic apartment building located on Åboulevard in Copenhagen's Nørrebro district, opposite the University of Copenhagen's Frederiksberg Campus. Completed in 1931, this unique structure features patterned brickwork reminiscent of traditional linoleum floors and is recognized as a protected building since 2009. Its distinctive architecture includes bow-shaped corners and a gently sloped red-tiled roof, making it an interesting site for both tourists and researchers interested in early 20th-century Danish design and urban development.
