Dr. John C. Irons House

The Dr. John C. Irons House, also known as the Dr. S. G. Moore Home, is a historic Italianate-style residence located in Elkins, West Virginia. Constructed in 1889, this two-story frame dwelling features distinctive architectural elements such as drop wood siding and a brick foundation, along with a unique 'T'-shape layout and a one-story rear addition. Notably, a two-story projecting angled bay was added around 1911. The house was recognized for its historical significance and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers interested in local history and architecture.
