Washington Hilton

The Washington Hilton opened in 1965 and has served as a major downtown hotel hosting political conferences, inaugurations-related events, and national visitors. The hotel is also known as the site outside which President Ronald Reagan was shot during an assassination attempt on March 30, 1981. It continues to operate as a prominent hospitality and event venue in the Dupont Circle/Logan Circle area.
