Seattle Asian Art Museum (Volunteer Park)

The Seattle Asian Art Museum (SAAM) is housed in a 1933 Art Deco building in Volunteer Park and is a branch of the Seattle Art Museum. SAAM's permanent collection focuses on art from East, South, and Southeast Asia spanning centuries and regions, and the museum hosts rotating exhibitions and cultural programs. The building underwent a major renovation and seismic upgrade and reopened in 2020 with improved galleries, climate control, and accessibility to better preserve and display works.
