The Oculus (World Trade Center Transportation Hub)

The World Trade Center Transportation Hub, known as the Oculus, opened in 2016 at 185 Greenwich Street and was designed by architect Santiago Calatrava. Its ribbed, vaulted interior and central skylight have made it a frequent subject of architectural photography and widely shared social media posts. Interior and exterior photos of the Oculus are commonly used in online articles and travel feeds about contemporary New York architecture.
