Edith Creek Chlorination House

The Edith Creek Chlorination House, built in 1930, is a historic structure located in Mount Rainier National Park. Designed by the National Park Service, this rustic building was integral to the water supply system for the Paradise area, featuring a low concrete design with stone veneer to endure heavy snow loads. It was fed by a small dam on Edith Creek, replaced in 1970, and housed equipment for chlorinating water and regulating reservoir levels. Recognized for its historical significance, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1991 and is part of the Mount Rainier National Historic Landmark District, showcasing the park's unique rustic architecture.
