Lechmere Point Corporation Houses

The Lechmere Point Corporation Houses, located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is a historic apartment rowhouse built before 1821. It is the only remaining structure from the Lechmere Point Corporation, which played a significant role in the development of East Cambridge in the early 19th century. Notable for its architectural features, the houses include original gable roofs and a mix of styles, with some buildings modified over time. The site was once owned by Christopher Gore, a prominent lawyer and politician. Recognized for its historical significance, the houses were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, making it an interesting stop for tourists and researchers alike.
