Cotton Bowl Classic (historical bowl game)

The Cotton Bowl Classic was an annual post-season college football bowl game played at the Cotton Bowl stadium in Dallas from 1937 through 2009. The event was one of the major college bowl games held on the Cotton Bowl field at Fair Park before the game moved to AT&T Stadium in Arlington starting with the 2010 edition. The Cotton Bowl stadium hosted numerous conference championships and marquee matchups during its tenure as the Classic's home.
