United States National Arboretum

The United States National Arboretum is a 446-acre arboretum operated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and open to the public for research, education, and recreation. Its collections include extensive tree and shrub plantings, specimen collections, and specialized displays. Notable features on the grounds include the National Bonsai & Penjing Museum and the National Capitol Columns, which were relocated to the Arboretum and re-erected as a garden feature.
