Billy Horne Farm

The Billy Horne Farm is a historic site located in Polkton, North Carolina, recognized for its significance as a national historic district. This charming farm features four contributing buildings, including a two-story weatherboard frame house showcasing Federal and vernacular Greek Revival architecture from around 1830. Visitors can explore a 19th-century overseer/tenant house, a corncrib/granary, and a carriage house, all set within a picturesque landscape that also includes the Horne Family Cemetery. The farm was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989, making it a noteworthy destination for history enthusiasts and tourists alike.
