Northbank Center

The Northbank Center, located at 432 North Saginaw Street in Flint, Michigan, is a historic twelve-story Renaissance Revival building that was originally the Industrial Savings Bank Building. Established in 1909, the bank expanded rapidly during Flint's economic boom and became the first in the city to operate multiple locations. Completed in 1923, the building features a striking facade with limestone and granite detailing. After the bank's closure in 1933, the building served various purposes before being purchased by the University of Michigan–Flint in 1997. Today, it houses the UM-Flint Dance Studio, community offices, and a small business hatchery, making it a vibrant part of the local educational and cultural landscape.
