Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI)

OMSI is a major science museum located on the east bank of the Willamette River at 1945 SE Water Ave; the institution was founded in 1944 and moved to its current riverfront campus in 1992. The museum features hands-on exhibits, a planetarium, and a large-format OMNIMAX theater, focusing on STEM education for all ages. OMSI's riverside location and public programming make it a prominent cultural and neighborhood landmark in Southeast Portland.
