Thevally Palace

Thevally Palace, located on the picturesque banks of Ashtamudi Lake in Kollam city, Kerala, is a historic monument built between 1811 and 1819 during the reign of Gowri Parvati Bayi. This architectural marvel showcases a blend of British, Dutch, and Portuguese styles and served as a meeting place for the Kings of Travancore and British officials. Once used for administrative purposes, the palace is now the NCC Group Headquarters for Kollam district. Visitors can admire its unique structure made of laterite and lime plaster, as well as a temple dedicated to Lord Sastha within its premises.
