Tower of the Americas (HemisFair '68)

The Tower of the Americas was built as the theme structure for HemisFair '68, the 1968 World's Fair held in San Antonio. The 750-foot observation tower opened during the fair and features an observation deck and a revolving restaurant offering panoramic views of the city. It remains a distinctive landmark on the downtown skyline and a focal point of Hemisfair Park.
