The Garage (Singapore)

The Garage is a historic Art Deco building located in the Singapore Botanic Gardens, originally constructed between 1924 and 1928 as a garage for professors at the University of Malaya. This two-storey structure features unique architectural elements such as half-round arches and a timber truss roof. After serving various functions, including as the horticulture department for the National Parks Board, it was conserved in 2014. Today, it houses the Bees Knee's cafe and Au Balcon restaurant, making it a charming spot for visitors to enjoy dining amidst a rich historical backdrop.
