Day Block Building

The Day Block Building, a historic structure in the Mill City District of Downtown Minneapolis, was built in 1883 by local businessman Leonard Day. Once a hub for the flourishing flour milling industry, it served various purposes over the years, including a furniture-making business and a hospital for mill workers. After a period of diverse tenants, the building underwent restoration in the mid-2000s, preserving its original Queen Anne style. Today, it houses the popular Day Block Event Center for weddings and events, and Day Block Brewing, a local brewpub offering a variety of beverages and food. Its central location near the US Bank Stadium and Mill City Museum makes it a notable destination for tourists and researchers alike.
