Buster Meat Market

The Buster Meat Market was a historic stone building located in Challis, Idaho, constructed around 1897. Known for its distinctive galvanized iron front by Mesker Bros., it served as a prominent merchant establishment for many years. Although it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, the building no longer exists. Visitors to Challis may also be interested in the nearby Challis Cold Storage, another historic site that collapsed during the 1983 Borah Peak earthquake.
