Mercat Marsans

Mercat Marsans is a vibrant public market located in the La Gavarra neighborhood of Cornellà de Llobregat, Catalonia, Spain. Opened on September 25, 1960, it was established to accommodate the population growth in the area during the late 1940s and early 1950s, making it the second market in the city after Mercat del Centre. Initially featuring 71 stalls offering a variety of food products, the market is situated on land that once housed a rugby field and is named after the banker Lluís Marsans i Peix, whose estate previously occupied the site.
