Aztec Theatre

Opened in 1926 as a lavish movie palace, the Aztec Theatre features extensive Mesoamerican-inspired ornamentation and themed architectural detailing in its interior and façade. It operated as a movie theater and live performance venue and later underwent restoration and reuse as a concert and events venue. The building is a prominent example of exotic revival theatrical architecture in downtown San Antonio.
