La Villita Historic Arts Village - WPA-era arts enclave

La Villita is one of San Antonio's oldest neighborhoods that was rehabilitated in the 1930s under New Deal-era programs and later developed as a historic arts village. The cluster of restored historic buildings along the River Walk houses artist studios, galleries, and small specialty shops. The site is used for local art markets, cultural events, and community gatherings.
