Bucharest Financial Plaza

Bucharest Financial Plaza is a prominent class A office building located in the heart of Bucharest, Romania. Standing at 83 meters tall with 18 floors and 30,000 m2 of floor space, it is one of the tallest office structures in the city. Originally completed in 1997 as the headquarters for Bancorex, the building has undergone significant changes, including its recent acquisition by AFI Europe for 27.5 million dollars in August 2024. Plans for modernization include reducing the number of floors in one wing to enhance views of nearby historical monuments, making it an interesting site for both tourists and researchers interested in urban development and architectural evolution.
