The Fillmore Detroit (historic State Theatre)

The Fillmore Detroit occupies the historic State Theatre building on Woodward Avenue, originally opened in the 1920s as a movie palace and vaudeville house. After renovations, it reopened as the Fillmore Detroit in 2007 and now functions as a prominent concert and event venue in Midtown. The theater is part of Detroit’s entertainment corridor near other major cultural institutions.
