Mikael Agricola Church

Mikael Agricola Church, located in the vibrant Punavuori district of Helsinki, is a striking Lutheran church designed by architect Lars Sonck and completed in 1935. Named after the influential bishop Mikael Agricola, the church features a distinctive red brick facade and a towering spire that reaches 103 meters above sea level. Notably, the 30-meter spike can be retracted for safety during wartime.
