Casa Rosita Serrallés

Casa Rosita Serrallés is a historic building located in Ponce, Puerto Rico, notable for its Spanish Colonial Revival architecture and rich cultural significance. Built in 1926 for the heirs of prominent businessman Juan Serrallés Colón, the building reflects the economic and cultural transformation of southern Puerto Rico in the early 20th century. Acquired by the municipality in 2008, it has been restored and now serves as the Museo de la Recordacion Barrio Mameyes, commemorating the 1985 Mameyes tragedy. Situated in the Ponce Historic Zone, near Teatro La Perla and the Museo de la Historia de Ponce, it offers visitors a glimpse into the region's heritage and architectural beauty.
