Costurero de la Reina

The Costurero de la Reina, or Queen's Sewing Box, is a charming hexagonal building located in the gardens of the Palace of San Telmo, now part of Maria Luisa Park in Seville, Spain. Constructed in 1893, it is the oldest neomudéjar style building in Seville, featuring turrets and large Arabic-style windows. Originally a guard house and garden retreat, it is named after a popular legend involving Mercedes of Orléans, though she passed away long before its completion. Today, it serves as the city's Tourist Information Office, welcoming visitors with insights into Seville's rich history and culture. The building underwent restoration in 2007, enhancing its functionality while preserving its historical charm. Open to the public, it offers a unique glimpse into the romantic past of Seville amidst the beautiful surroundings of Maria Luisa Park.
