Hilbert Circle Theatre (Circle Theatre)

The Hilbert Circle Theatre opened in 1916 as the Circle Theatre, originally built as a vaudeville and movie palace. It was restored and converted into a concert hall and is the long-time home of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. The building's circular footprint and location on Monument Circle make it a distinctive element of downtown Indianapolis's historic streetscape.
