The STRAT (Stratosphere) observation tower

The STRAT's SkyPod rises to 1,149 feet, making it the tallest freestanding observation tower in the United States. The tower includes indoor and outdoor observation decks that offer panoramic views of the Las Vegas Valley. Near the top are several thrill rides-Big Shot, X-Scream, and Insanity-that extend over the tower's edge and are prominent features of the north Strip skyline.
