Governor's Mansion (Bohol)

The Bohol Governor's Mansion, also known as the People's Mansion, serves as the official residence of the governor of Bohol, Philippines. Originally conceived by Governor Carlos P. Garcia, the mansion has a rich history, including use by Japanese officials during World War II. After years of disuse, it was revitalized under Governor Lino Chatto, who enhanced its grounds with beautiful lawns and fountains. Following the 2013 Bohol earthquake, the mansion became the governor's office, now referred to as the Mansion Office of the Governor. The facility includes living quarters, a working office, and spaces for receptions and conferences, making it a significant site for both governance and historical reflection in the province.
