The John Geist and Sons Blacksmith Shop and House, a historic site in Nashville, Tennessee, dates back to 1886 and is notable for being one of the oldest family-owned businesses in the area, operating continuously until 2006. The original frame house was replaced by a brick building in 1900, which still stands today. The shop transitioned to decorative ironwork as automobiles became prevalent.
