White's Tavern

White's Tavern, built in 1773 and located in Andover, Connecticut, is a historic former tavern that exemplifies colonial architecture. It served as a lodging for French Army officers during the American Revolutionary War, including the Marquis de Chastellux. This well-preserved structure features a central hall plan, original wide floorboards, and unique swinging walls that can transform upstairs rooms into a ballroom.
