Mayfield Park & Nature Preserve (historic cottage and gardens)

Mayfield Park & Nature Preserve preserves a historic stone cottage and formal gardens developed by the Mayfield family in the early 20th century. The site is known for its landscaped terraces, original stonework, and free-roaming peafowl that have been present on the property for decades. The park is owned and managed by the City of Austin as a public nature preserve and historic garden.
