Mona Vale is a stunning heritage-listed country house located in Ross, Tasmania, completed in 1867. Known as the 'Calendar House' for its unique architectural features, it boasts 365 windows, 52 rooms, 12 chimneys, and seven entrances. Designed by William Archer for Robert Kermode, it was the largest private house in Australia at the time of its completion. The estate has a rich history, including royal visits from notable figures such as Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh, and future King George VI. Additionally, it served as a military training ground during WWII, making it a site of historical significance.
