Maple Grove Farm (Middletown, Delaware)

Maple Grove Farm was a historic Georgian-style home built around 1840 in Middletown, Delaware. This 2.5-story house featured a distinctive full-width front porch supported by elegant Doric columns, along with a gabled wing and a kitchen wing. The property also included a small stone structure believed to have served as a meathouse. Recognized for its historical significance, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985 but was unfortunately demolished between 1992 and 2002. This site offers a glimpse into the architectural heritage of the region.
