Tootsie's Orchid Lounge, historic honky-tonk

Tootsie's Orchid Lounge is a long-running honky-tonk located on Broadway directly behind the Ryman Auditorium. Since the 1960s it has been an after-hours gathering spot for country music performers and songwriters. Noted country artists such as Patsy Cline and Willie Nelson are documented to have spent time there during their careers. The venue remains a focal point of Nashville's live-music Broadway district.
