Bartram's Garden (John Bartram House and Garden)

Bartram's Garden was established by botanist John Bartram in 1728 and is recognized as the oldest surviving botanic garden in North America. The site preserves the historic Bartram House, early plantings and specimen records that contributed to transatlantic botanical exchange, and is designated a National Historic Landmark. It operates as a public garden and cultural landscape interpreting early American botany and horticulture.
