6 Patrick Pool

6 Patrick Pool is a historic Grade II* listed building located in the heart of York, England, dating back to around 1600. Originally uncertain in its use, it may have served social purposes or been linked to the nearby St Sampson's Church, later transforming into stables and then a warehouse. The building features distinctive timber framing with jettied upper floors and retains much of its original internal structure, including lime ash plaster. After a period of neglect, it was restored in 1960 and now houses the Pivni bar, recognized in 2022 as one of York's notable pubs in the Good Beer Guide, making it an interesting stop for both tourists and researchers exploring the city's rich architectural heritage.
