Thomas Graham Building

The Thomas Graham Building, located at 6031 Southeast Stark Street in Portland, Oregon, is a historic two-story commercial structure that has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1992. Built in 1910, this well-preserved example of early 20th-century commercial architecture features a unique recessed storefront, fluted wood columns, and large display windows. Originally constructed for druggist Thomas Graham, who operated a drugstore there for many years, the building reflects the transformation of the Mount Tabor neighborhood from rural to residential. It is one of only four similar buildings still standing in central southeast Portland and was designated a Portland Historic Landmark in 1981. Today, it houses the Bellwether Bar, making it a vibrant part of the local community and a point of interest for visitors.
