Ford House Office Building

The Ford House Office Building, located on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., serves as an office space primarily for committee staff and various offices, including the Congressional Budget Office and the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe. Unique among House Office Buildings, it is not connected underground to other buildings and does not house any members of Congress. Constructed in 1939 as part of FDR's New Deal, it has a rich history, having previously served as the home for the U.S. Census Bureau and the FBI's Latent Print Unit.
