San José City Hall

San José City Hall, designed by architect Richard Meier and completed in 2005, is distinguished by an 18-story glass-walled rotunda and a domed council chamber. The building consolidated many municipal offices into a single downtown complex and replaced the older city hall facilities. Its modernist design has made it a prominent example of civic architecture in San Jose.
