Consolidated Building (Indianapolis)

The Consolidated Building, located at 115 North Pennsylvania Street in downtown Indianapolis, is a historic 15-story structure originally built as an annex to the Lemcke Building. Once the headquarters of the Consolidated Insurance Company, the building faced years of vacancy due to financial issues. In 2014, it was sold and underwent a $14 million renovation, reopening in May 2015 as the Penn Street Tower, featuring 98 apartments and retail space on the ground floor, making it a notable destination for both tourists and researchers interested in urban redevelopment.
