Prescott Town House

The Prescott Town House, built in 1838 in the Greek Revival style, is a historic former town hall located in Petersham, Massachusetts. Originally serving as the town hall for Prescott, which was unincorporated for the Quabbin Reservoir project in the 1930s, the building was relocated to its current site on a hill overlooking a hay meadow. Funded by Judge John Monroe Woolsey, it now serves as a law library and office. The Prescott Town House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989, making it a notable site for both tourists and researchers interested in local history.
