Fort Mifflin - Historic Military Fort and Former Army Post

Fort Mifflin on the Delaware River is a National Historic Landmark that was fortified and held by Continental and later U.S. forces. It served as an active U.S. Army post and munitions depot in various periods of the 19th and 20th centuries, and portions of the site were under military control and not open to the public while used for military purposes. The fort was also the site of the 1777 Siege of Fort Mifflin during the American Revolutionary War.
