Evan Hall

Evan Hall is a historic former sugarcane plantation located in Donaldsonville, Louisiana, established by merchant and politician Evan Jones around 1807. The plantation later came under the ownership of Henry McCall, who constructed a mansion and slave cabins in 1840. Today, two of the original slave cabins are recognized for their historical significance and are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Visitors can explore the rich history of the plantation and its role in Louisiana's agricultural past.
