Custom House Tower

The Custom House Tower, completed in 1915 as an addition to Boston’s 19th-century Custom House, was the city's tallest building until the 1960s and remains a prominent Financial District landmark. The 496-foot tower was adapted for hotel and timeshare use in the 1990s and includes a public observation deck that offers views of the harbor and downtown. Its clock faces and pyramidal roof are distinctive features visible from surrounding neighborhoods.
