1920 Wall Street bombing

On September 16, 1920 a horse-drawn wagon loaded with explosives detonated outside 23 Wall Street, damaging the J.P. Morgan building and surrounding structures. The blast caused multiple deaths and numerous injuries and created a large crater in the street. The attack severely disrupted financial activity in the area, and the perpetrators were never definitively identified, leaving the case unsolved.
