Majestic Theatre

The Majestic Theatre opened in 1929 as a large atmospheric movie palace and performance venue featuring ornate Spanish Baroque and Renaissance-inspired interior decoration. It was designed by architect John Eberson and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The theater remains an active performance venue and is one of downtown San Antonio's best-preserved early 20th-century theaters.
